The PA medical practice management reporting system has powerful data analysis capabilities built in, which go far beyond the reporting capabilities of most practice management systems. Our reporting functions have been developed during the past 7 years of working with hundreds of physician clients and multi-specialty groups. We currently
have over 100 different reports
that are designed to help you understand the important metrics of managing a physician practice.
All financial reports can be run by Date of Service, or Posting Date, effectively providing "cash" or "accrual" reports real time at the click of a button. The accounting period is assigned to each finalized claim and saved payment transaction, which locks that data to the relevant accounting period. This means that accounting (cash) reports can be run at any point in time, and still provide the same data for prior accounting periods.
With PA, you never have to worry about keeping those "month end closing" reports in a paper file somewhere. You can go back to recreate them in the system at any point in the future and get the same report you would have after your accounting month end closed.
In addition, we have standard reports in PA that allow you to drill down and analyze reimbursement by CPT and by payer, with comparisons to the Medicare fee schedule for your state and region. This allows you to immediately identify payers that are sub-par, and take remedial action. We also have
partners that can assist you with more detailed financial analysis and payer contract negotiations.
The following is a list of our more commonly used report types.
