PracticeAdmin CEO, Eric Christ, Elected to the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Administrative Technology Association (HATA)

PracticeAdmin, a Georgia-based medical billing software company, is pleased to announce that its CEO, Eric Christ, has been selected to join the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Administrative Technology Association (HATA). HATA is a trade association for vendors of practice management software and PracticeAdmin is a founding member of the association.

Representing the healthcare administrative technology industry, HATA works to influence national legislative and regulatory affairs. Through in-person meetings, letters and testimony to federal Health and Human Services agencies, HATA’s executive director, Tim McMullen feels that they are acting as an important mediator for its members.

“We’re excited to have Eric Christ join our board with his experience in the healthcare I.T. industry and his senior management roles at PracticeAdmin, Jackson Healthcare, and McKesson Corporation,” said McMullen.

HATA works with such agencies as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information and the Office for Civil Rights to provide a voice for healthcare technology vendors.

“Our HATA membership aligns with our efforts to support medical billing professionals and doctors by providing easy-to-use, industry leading software to get providers paid faster,” said Christ. “I’m honored to have been chosen by my peers to join the HATA board.”

At PracticeAdmin, Christ has overseen the development of a suite of medical billing and practice management applications. With a team comprised of individuals with extensive medical billing experience, Christ feels that his knowledgeable staff is what enables PracticeAdmin to deliver world-class customer service.
